About Adam McPhail

Adam McPhail is a touring guitarist, music professor, and studio musician with an extensive performance history. He has played with legendary artists such as B.B. King, Michael W. Smith, CeCe Winans, Kirk Whalum, Victor Wooten, and Keb’ Mo’, among many others. He has also opened for Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, The Robert Glasper Experiment, and George Clinton.
Beyond touring, Adam is active in music ministry and studio recording in Nashville, contributing to R&B, jazz, funk, country, and contemporary Christian records. His work has been featured on Netflix, Showtime, FOX, BET, Discovery Channel, and more.
A respected educator, Adam holds a Master of Commercial Music Performance from Belmont University and is the Coordinator of Guitar Studies at Lipscomb University. He is an endorsed artist for BOSS, Ernie Ball, Jim Dunlop, and several top brands and has been a featured demonstrator at NAMM conventions.
